Summer has arrived in Europe and for many it's a time for lighter winds and relaxing summer cruising. If it's effortless freeride windsurfing you're after take a look at the T'bird, which has been refined over many years and is an all-time classic freeride sail. Boardseeker Magazine just summarised:
"it really excels in lighter winds and remains stable at the top end, delivering pretty much everything a freerider needs."
Top Technique Guru and windsurfing legend Peter Hart has been getting about a bit recently. His latest session (see picture) was down in Essex with buddy Dave White. He had a cracking session using his new 8.5 Lightning on a Starboard Futura 144. This combination works beautifully across a huge wind range, with Harty cranking it with ease in 18 knots yet it'll get you planing in half that!
